David Will wins Youngster Tour Final in Mannheim

David Will knows only too well the feeling of winning in Mannheim on the final Tuesday. The Bavarian-born rider was already able to win the Grand Prix, the Badenia, once in 2013. Back then with his partner Colorit.

Today in the final of the Youngster Tour he was riding Carthage. The mare is owned by Würrtembeger Dana Rösch, as well as the international rider Jerome Guery. Rösch has been supporting Vogel & Will GmbH for quite some time. Thus, one of the successful horses of Richard Vogel "Floyd VDL" is also owned by Rösch.
Today David Will now rode a horse owned by them. "I am overjoyed!", Will declared after his victory.
Against a total of 9 other pairs, Will prevailed in the jump-off. With his partner under the saddle, Carthage, everything went perfectly today for the Marburg resident.
In 2nd place was his business partner Richard Vogel. He crossed the finish line on Carlchen S just a few tenths after Will.
The "S" behind the name of Vogel's horse stands for the name of the breeder. This is the name Simon. This is none other than the legendary Hugo Simon. Vogel has been riding the equestrian legend's horses for some time. "Ritchie and I had four youngsters compete here, and all of them placed - it doesn't get any better than that!" announced Will.
Vogel also had much to be pleased about, being honored as the show's most successful rider.

3rd place, behind the team from Dagobertshausen was then taken by Christian Ahlmann, who had saddled the eight-year-old For Pleasure offspring Nijinsky de Kalvarie.
